I have technically been homeless. I was 17 years old & I had
to sleep in my car for about 3 days. I didn't realize at the time how dangerous or permanent
that situation could have become. My concerns were more focused on where to
shower & use the bathroom.
As an adult I have an amazing support system, so if I did become
homeless with no family or friend to move in with it would be devastating. I
would likely know I am about to lose my home & buy supplies. I would look
up homeless shelters as well ...
If that was not an option I would use boxes & tarps that I
currently have ...
I would
try to make it as familiar as possible & "like home" as I could
...
